Gone-Gone
It was my first serious attempt at writing and has since had many rounds of editing and phases of near-abandonment. Once I felt that the story was as good as I could make it with my limited experience, I painted the 27 spreads in oil and watched as the visual medium altered the story into something much richer.
To give some context, I would say the plot of this story is what happens if you don't feed your passions and they turn around and eat you instead.
I have aspirations to publish this project, so I'm only including sneak peeks of some of my favorite illustrations in the meantime
(and who knows how long that'll be).
