Comics

I didn’t ever imagine myself making comics, especially in a digital format since I felt I was a strictly traditional artist. However, as you can see, I’ve made quite a few since joining The Daily Gamecock, the University of South Carolina’s student-run newspaper - that was also a complete accident as well. I found out about The Daily Gamecock when I was wandering through Russell House and stumbled into the newsroom. There was a random comic strip on the wall, so I asked the members there that night if they were looking for someone to make comics for the paper, and they said yes.
Lo and behold, I’ve been making little comics since the first semester of my freshman year, primarily for The Daily Gamecock about college life quirks, as well as a few for the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art about their exhibitions.
